About the Role

ROC Liquidation is a local liquidation and live-commerce business that sources excess inventory from major retailers and sells beauty, haircare, skincare, and personal-care products through live dollar auctions on TikTok and Whatnot.

We are hiring a Live Streamer to host engaging auction shows. You will be on camera, talk through products, run dollar-style auctions, keep energy high, and help convert viewers into buyers. This is a great fit for a student or recent grad who is comfortable on social media, enjoys presenting, and wants paid, real-world live-commerce experience.

What You Will Do

• Host live dollar-auction streams on TikTok and Whatnot (and related platforms as needed).
• Present beauty, haircare, skincare, and related HBA items clearly — benefits, condition, and why a viewer should bid.
• Keep shows energetic, friendly, and professional while managing chat, bids, and pacing.
• Prep products and the live set before going on air; reset inventory after shows.
• Grow comfort on camera over time; bring ideas for show format, hooks, and audience engagement.

Who We Are Looking For

• Comfortable on camera. You do not need to be a professional influencer. You do need to be willing to talk live, smile, and stay present.
• Social media fluency. You already spend time on TikTok, Instagram, Whatnot, or similar platforms and understand how live comments and short-form energy work.
• Basic beauty / personal-care knowledge. You can talk about haircare, skincare, cosmetics, or everyday HBA items in plain language. Deep product-expert credentials are not required.
• Reliable and coachable. You show up for the shifts you claim, take feedback, and treat inventory and customers with care.
• Schedule fit. Able to work nights and/or weekends, set a week-to-week schedule, and commit to at least 3 days per week.
• Local. Able to work from our Fairport-area live-selling setup.

Nice to Have

• Prior live selling, retail, campus ambassador, theater, speech, or content-creation experience.
• Existing TikTok or Whatnot account and comfort with going live.
• Interest in e-commerce, resale, or building a personal on-camera skill set.

Pay & Hours

• $20 per hour to start, plus commission once running solo shows.
• Performance-based commission on top of hourly pay (tied to show results).
• Flexible week-to-week scheduling. Nights and weekends are the core need.
• Minimum 3 days per week. Shift length typically aligned to live-show blocks (training provided).
• Part-time. Ideal for students who want paid on-camera work around class.
